Prylada HM 2024 participation report: showcasing solutions for intelligent asset monitoring

Prylada is delighted to share insights from our recent participation at Hannover Messe 2024, held in Hannover, Germany, from April 22 to 26. At this prestigious trade fair, we showcased our smart hardware and software components designed to automate asset monitoring across various industries. Our solutions cater to both the creation of new remote monitoring systems and the enhancement of existing ones.

Among the installations demonstrating how Prylada can be applied for different monitoring purposes, our visitors could find the following:

  1. Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing: Demonstrated the Prylada Probeberry Testbench's capability to connect a device-under-test to testing software and run a set of predefined scenarios, to verify that the device works as intended. The Prylada Core served as the device-under-test, with all data visualized in the Prylada Cloud.
  2. Vibration monitoring: Presented the Prylada Energy Harvesting Wireless Sensor Platform (WASP) for measuring vibration levels in industrial machinery, crucial for early detection of equipment issues.
  3. Remote deflection angle monitoring: Utilized the Prylada WASP and an inclinometer to measure deflection angles, showcasing applications in structural integrity assessment.
  4. Distance measurement with radar sensors: Demonstrated the Prylada WASP's integration with radar sensors for precise distance measurements, ideal for various industrial applications.
  5. Energy harvesting technologies: Highlighted how the Prylada WASP can utilize ambient energy sources like vibration, solar, and electromagnetic waves for continuous sensor operation, reducing production and maintenance costs.
  6. Wireless monitoring of liquids and solids levels: Presented the Prylada IoT Gateway alongside radar sensors to monitor solids and liquids levels in containers, enabling real-time data transmission over mobile networks.
  7. Noise level monitoring: Showcased industrial noise detectors for comprehensive noise monitoring across different industrial environments, such as environmental noise monitoring, plant noise monitoring, petrochemical noise monitoring, manufacturing noise monitoring, OSHA noise monitoring.

Additionally, our booth featured operating diagrams illustrating wireless and non-wireless data transfer scenarios, providing attendees with a holistic understanding of our solution’s operating principle.
